About Daniel

IMG_2176_edited.jpg

Daniel is an award-winning actor.

His understanding of complicated characters, emotional depth and playful sense of humor often get him compared to Andrew Scott, Ryan Gosling and Paul Mescal.

As a teenager he started to take the craft of theatre seriously at the BRIT School - forming friendships and collaborations that he still works with today.

With his friends, he co-founded FAT CONTENT, an experimental theatre company that produced original plays in London, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and even toured shows across the UK and US.

Inspired by the world he saw on screen, Daniel moved to New York City to train at The American Academy Of Dramatic Arts.

He fell in love with the city and splits his time between London and New York.

His career spans Network Television in the US and UK, top streaming services (Apple TV and Peacock) and iconic roles on stage including The Emcee and Hamlet.

A champion of the arts, he continues to produce projects he is passionate about.

He has produced independent theatre, including the NY Premier of Andrew Bovel's play Holy Day. Daniel runs a boutique film production company, Redfern Films which champions LGBTQ+ clients and stories.

Daniel was awarded Best Actor for his performance in the international tour of the one-man play, Skin Of The Teeth, by Anna Beecher, directed by Rachel Lincoln.
